PRACTICAL TOOLS TO RE-IMAGINE & RE-VITALIZE YOUR SACRED TIME

Rev. Dr. Matthew J. Packer--In the Beginning: My Vision for MPack-t

I began my vocation as a church musician in 1983 while a student at Central Michigan University by forming and directing a touring choir called the SonLight Singers. Now, more than three decades later, I continue to be blessed in my service to Christ and the church through the gifts of Music and Worship.

It is my desire to consult with other churches who would like to explore new ideas for Music and Worship. The brochure below provides all the information you will need to select and book a MPack-t Seminar. If these workshops are something that will benefit the ministry of your congregation, I hope to hear from you soon!

Pics of Ministry in Action

At Newburg UMC in Livonia
One of my passions is playing and singing praise, both traditional hymns with an "MPack-t Twist" and contemporary songs of love and faith!
At Davison UMC
A good United Methodist would never pass up an opportunity to pose with the cross and flame! :)

A Video of Community in Action!

"I Will Fly (Amir's Song)" explores themes of hope and freedom in the midst of that which would "imprison" us from living to our fullest potential. It was written for Amir Hekmati, an American citizen currently being held in an Iranian prison. The recording of this song in support for Amir's family brought together students and faculty at Mott Community College and members of the community in a "We Are the World" experience of solidarity, raising one voice for Amir's freedom.
